Back on May 6 Trillian developer Cerulean Studios announced work on their popular IM application for the BlackBerry platform. Incorporating AIM, ICQ, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Facebook and Twitter, as well as various email services, Trillian brings alot to the table when it comes to mobile communication! There's speculation that we might see the official Trillian for BlackBerry release by weeks end so stay tuned!

Google Maps for BlackBerry has been updated to version 4.2.0! Now featuring bicycle routes, updated search feature and location sharing through Twitter and Facebook! Now if I only had a bicycle! Download the update OTA from here.

The first images of the Curve 85XX series successor have been posted! Bringing some new features to its predecessor, the 9300 touts 3G and WiFi n capability. The images show the 9300 running 5.0 with 256MB and the same 320X240 resolution display, although the date of the hardware/software version in the images is unknown so time will tell whether RIM tweaks these specs when the 9300 series becomes official.
